Inner Critic: You’re Fired.

I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to get over the fact that it’s November, and almost the end of the year. In a desperate sprint to the finish line, I think that we all hit a point where we acknowledge complete disbelief that the year is coming to an end and another time cycle is starting. Year-ends often mark the end of projects, new plans for the future and an onslaught of self-critical mental notes on how the previous year played out. Maybe I’m just speaking for myself…

In planning for the coming year, I came across a blog written by social media guru Chris Brogan on why we need to fire our inner critic and hire an inner coach instead. Be Generous

By now, most people have heard about the dramatic incident involving Jet Blue flight attendant Steven Slater. Reading the breaking story by The New York Daily News, I was laughing out loud. The basic story goes that Jet Blue flight attendant Slater was involved in a verbal altercation with a passenger on a flight from Pittsburgh to New York.
