Inner Critic: You’re Fired.

I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to get over the fact that it’s November, and almost the end of the year. In a desperate sprint to the finish line, I think that we all hit a point where we acknowledge complete disbelief that the year is coming to an end and another time cycle is starting. Year-ends often mark the end of projects, new plans for the future and an onslaught of self-critical mental notes on how the previous year played out. Maybe I’m just speaking for myself…

In planning for the coming year, I came across a blog written by social media guru Chris Brogan on why we need to fire our inner critic and hire an inner coach instead. Social Networking and All That Jazz…

Last year on the occasion of Martin & Farah Perelmuter’s 40th birthday, I got the idea of throwing a surprise party for them in my home.  “We can’t do that!”  my husband said, “ the backyard isn’t finished!”.   I don’t know about you but deadlines work for me. The party was wonderful and the back patio looks pretty good too!
