It’s been a couple of months since the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games have ended, and as the weather gets warmer and our thoughts turn to summer, the excitement of the Games is beginning to wane. However, the memories of Vancouver 2010 will stay with us for a long time, and thanks to Canada’s record-breaking 14 gold medals, there are many new national heroes for us to celebrate. Some of the personal highlights for me include Alexandre Bilodeau’s historic first Olympic gold medal on Canadian soil, Joannie Rochette’s emotional gold medal performance in the (more…)

Doing More With Less

Last Friday, I attended the MPI Toronto Chapter Monthly Meeting  and was really impressed with the panel they featured on “Doing More with Less”. The panellists were meeting planners discussing the value of working with different supplier partners, including Convention & Visitor Bureau’s, Speakers Bureaus, Site Selection Companies and Hospitality Schools.
