With over 200 clients attending the event, we could have easily renamed the event “Why Your Office Is About To Get A Whole Lot Smaller”, as we had quite a turnout. Happy 80th Birthday Peter C. Newman! Oh What A Night…

My husband Martinand I were honoured to be invited to Peter C. Newman’s 8oth birthday party last week. And oh, what a night it was! Held at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club in Toronto, the guest list included a veritable Who’s Who from the worlds of Canadian politics, journalism and beyond.  From DR. JOE MACINNIS, STEPHEN LEDREW, ALLAN FOTHERINGHAM, and Frank Mckenna to the Asper Family, Michael Ignatieff (Peter’s next biography subject) and others, Martin and I had our fill of fascinating conversation.

 

All attended to pay respects to one of Canada’s most highly regarded, yet controversial and dare I say – feared – writers of our time. Peter C. Newman’s 24 (more…)
