Bring About What You Think About

Eddie LeMoine speaks about the secrets to the Law of Attraction.

After years of research on human behavior and success management, I have found the Law of Attraction is a powerful tool for bringing success, abundance, health and happiness into one’s business and personal life. I have discovered through personal experience that the principles of the Law of Attraction are quite simple but the discipline required to implement them becomes the challenge. The key with the Law of Attraction is to realize that it is always working; it is always attracting things, people, situations and health into your life. The point is to make sure you attract what you want.

Why now? Why so popular?

I believe this is due to several reasons. Many great authors like Rhonda Byrne (The Secret), Dr. Wayne Dyer (The Power of Intention) and Ester Hicks (The Law of Attraction) have helped to make the Law of Attraction a very prevailing topic. The popularity of this subject has added to the validity of the outcome. The world is becoming flooded with success stories about people creating the lives they desire.

To believe that you can have what you wish for is a major cornerstone to the Law of Attraction. Successful people everywhere, in every imaginable arena of life, have this one thing in common: they believe that their goals are attainable.

The Law of Attraction has caused a sensation because we all have an instinctive desire for happiness.. The baby boom generation, although the most successful to have ever lived, is also one of the unhappiest. Antidepressant use has been growing solidly over the past decade. It seems we are always searching for something to make us happy. Younger generations look at the boomers and say, “I love all the stuff you have-the cars, the houses, the trips-but I don’t believe I’m prepared to pay the price of trading my health for wealth, a fifty-percent divorce rate and not having the time to know my children as they are growing up. I do want the stuff but there has to be a better way.” Every generation is looking for what the Law of Attraction has to offer to help them accomplish something different.

Finally, science is a major contributor to the credibility of the Law of Attraction. Ten years ago we may have been more sceptical about the claims of the Law of Attraction but, with today’s modern quantum physics research, we understand that we have only just begun to realize its power and magnitude.

Evolution of personal development

If we look back over the years at self-help programs and books, we find that they all offered something very similar. The first component they had in common was to encourage us to think in a more positive way. The second element was to look at how we communicated what we thought and the third was to take action based on our new thoughts. In doing this we would start to create the things we thought about the most. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? So what is the difference from all the programs we had learned about- many with great results- and the Law of Attraction?

The diagram above illustrates the common theme running through the teachings of self-help programs and the Law of Attraction:  we try to attract the things we want by changing what we think about. Unique to the Law of Attraction is the idea that what is attracted into our lives is determined by how we feel about what we think about. So why does this make such a difference? The traditional way was very good at allowing us to achieve goals but much of the time those goals were forced to happen. We often pushed forward in pursuit of some form of fulfillment or happiness. Unfortunately, at the end of the journey, we sometimes felt the more we strived to achieve, the more insecure and unhappy we became.

Worry about being able to achieve what we set out to do was then the focus of our thoughts. And when we did achieve what we wanted, we would replace the worry with anxiety about our ability to reproduce our success. The Law of Attraction promotes happiness and fulfillment throughout the process; it becomes a way of life. This new outlook on life has some real benefits as well. When we monitor our feelings about the way we think, we are also accelerating the rate our desires are being attracted to us. If you are really interested in reaching new heights I would suggest giving this topic a serious look.
